Thanksgiving 2017

Auntie Em and Grandma and Grandpa stayed most of the week after Nutcracker and before Thanksgiving. Aside from sharing sickness (colds and throw-ups both!!) we had a great week of shopping, playing in the warm and beautiful weather, and eating delicious food.

 I won a centerpiece from my friend and neighbor Adrien, who is an amazing florist.  I was in heaven having fresh flowers in the house!

Poor little Jakey got the stomach bug right before Thanksgiving dinner at Dana's house. He threw up three times all over her hall and bathroom. It was so sad that he slept through the festivities, but I was glad he got some rest.

With all the family here, we celebrated Ella's birthday a little early by going ice skating. It was Kate's first time! I mostly carried her, but her baby skates were adorable.

Ella is still a natural!

Afterwards we went to a delicious Italian place called Oregano. Dad treated us to an amazing dinner!

Sunday after church the visitors gathered one last time to give Ella her birthday presents.

It was so fun to have them all here. Now the house seems empty!
