Nutcracker 2017

This one is all about our little ballerina!

Last year Ella dreamed of being an Arabian in the Nutcracker. It was her coveted position, and this year, it came true! She was cast as a buffoon again as well, and enjoyed being even more involved in the rehearsals and performances.

The show is so beautifully done. The sets and costumes are just gorgeous, and the caliber of dancing is impressive! They hire the male lead roles, but the female roles are all cast from our studio. My favorite is the snow scene.

The party scene is so entertaining.

The Sugar Plum Fairy in the Land of Sweets.

The Peacock is gorgeous, especially because the Arabians are with her!

The Mother Buffoon is hilarious. She (he) always gets a good laugh from the audience, and it's so fun when the little buffoons pop out!

I chaperoned two shows and loved being behind the scenes with Ella.

Ella had so many people come to see her and support her! Grandma Osmond and Aunt Rebecca and Karissa came Thursday. Grandma Marcia and Grandpa Randy, along with Aunt Dana and Emily and kids, came with us Friday night.

On Saturday I took Ella to dinner at Taste. It is such a fun little tradition and a delicious place to eat!

Ella's favorite was the molten chocolate cake.

She must really love it because she was still super excited to go back for the 7th performance!

Buuuuut..... then she crashed! Knew that was coming!
