Mike posed for his first day of work in new clothes to humor me! He started at HDR on Oct. 30th, 2017. He is still a bridge engineer, but after 8 years at Mott MacDonald, he felt it was time to move on to work with new people, develop new skills, and work on new projects. Truthfully, there wasn't a position open, but they made one for him, and we're so glad they gave him this chance! The process was long and faith-trying, but we knew the Lord was guiding us on this path of change and growth. He is already really enjoying working with a friend Curt McDonald, and says he is happier in his new position. We are so grateful he can provide for our family, so that I can stay at home and chase the children.
