Grandma might get tired of playing dollhouse and jumping on the bed after awhile... although this was pretty entertianing.
You know, there is something refreshing about January. The chaos (I mean festivity) of the holidays are over and you can clean up and simplify a little.
I can't believe Mike and I have been married for almost 7 years--hopefully we can make this the best one yet. My Ella is a new person these days--she is walking exclusively and tickled pink with herself. She is talking like crazy too! Just this week she learned how to say and point to eyes, make an elephant noise, and hold the phone to her ear and say hi. It's so darn cute! Maddie is learning at an exponential rate... and turning 3 in just a few months! This fall we will definitely be scoping out preschools and dance classes for this bundle of raw talent. :)
2010 also means it's time for my first high school reunion--ugh, I feel old! But I am so excited to see some of my old buds and remember fun times together. I am also happy that Dana will be home now with her little Daxton so we will see lots more of each other (see some precious newborn pics here!).
Here's to a fabulous 2010!

My only word of advice about preschool...start early if you want her to go somewhere! I wanted Will to start this past fall and most places were filled by February. So if you want her to start this coming fall get ready to sign her up somewhere in the next couple of months! Who knew?!
Thanks for the link :) I am so excited for you and your half marathon! That will be awesome! 7 years!? Wow.... why is time flying by so fast lately? I'm glad you had mom for new years and I am REALLY glad Maddie is feeling all better.
I miss early morning runs and thinking. It's refreshing, i can totally relate. I haven't ran at all since my second 5 k and I think it's just too cold! I can't bring myself to run on a treadmill... torture! you are brave to "brave" to cold! :) great job!
Ohhhh, poor Maddie! Tell her I spent a Christmas morning throwing up too, once... when I was pregnant with Kate! The things we go through for those cute little girls!
I love that the house people are break dancing. At least that is what it looks like to me.
I'm so impressed that you're going to run a 1/2 marathon! I'm aiming for a 10K this year. I don't know if I'll ever go for a 1/2 marathon... Good luck Lauren, I'll be cheering you on from Michigan.
