The little artiste at work. Maddie had a blast!
And the finished products. Here begins the refrigerator gallery.
The pumpkin parfaits (recipe also below) were a hit! (Mike provided the festive background :)
Over the weekend we tried to go to a "Balloon Glow" where they light up hot air ballons in the dark. Unfortunately it was windy so all they did was light the torches... Thankfully Maddie didn't know she was missing anything when we bought her some regular balloons.
They actually came in handy as a leash! This girl would not hold still! There were things to do and people to see! Many times I was glad I could grab ahold of the little red balloon floating above the crowd. :)

WHat a cute dresser! And that recipe looks soo good. Thanks for sharing all your great recipes/ideas.
How fun! I'm glad that Mike thought of that! How many times did we talk about it and try to figure out a solution when there was a much easier way of going about it.
Who doesn't love fall! I sure do! I think we will copy your little painting activity! too cute.
What a fun little project! Maybe I will try it out with Kins, but I think she might be a little to ADD for it, but we'll try it out! Too cute!
I just LOVE this time of year ... it's hard for it to really sink in though, you know? ... the whole idea of Fall, when we're still consistently in the 90s. But soon ... really soon. Lauren, you're such a good wife and mother ... your blog seriously inspires me to just flat out TRY HARDER! =) Also wanted to let you know that in nursery on Sunday ... jared and i were sitting there in our tiny room of screaming babies, and out of nowhere we heard the word "garbage" ... like, CRYSTAL clear ... and considering it was just jared and i and 7 little 18 month olds ... sure enough, we look over, and it's Maddie, standing there, pointing at the garbage, smiling. I'm pretty sure she can say that word clearer than anyone I know! =) She blows me away!
Yup, you are the next Martha Stewart, but better. I hate missing out on all your fun activities. Are you sure you don't want to live in Twin Falls? Keep having great adventures, you are making memories.
Love, Grandma J
We had the same problem with an old dresser set we finished for the girls. They still don't have handles. One day!
Well it sure looks like you have been having fun! Its such a Lauren thing to be excited about fall. Although if fall in Rexburg was still in the high 80s I would love it too but that is so not the case! PS I love Maddie's shirt haha so cute :)
Maddie is so lucky to have such a fun mommy! Fall is my favorite!!
How FUN! Thanks for sharing your fun idea. I checked out that blog and love it! I think that is what we are going to be doing soon!
Ahhh Maddie is so cute! I love that she loves her baby buddy that Dana and I got for her at Target. She is such a sweetie. The red balloon is classic and the carosel ride is so fun! I am dying to see her!!! And you too!!!
