She is getting so good! All she wants to do is walk and climb the stairs. In the last two days she has mastered the art of getting to her feet with no support, and also bending over to get something and standing back up. She learns so quickly, it blows my mind!
I am amazed every day at how smart she is. She loves to give hugs, clap, make the indian sound with her hand and mouth, read books (turn the page), wave, and imitate everything we do. She says a few words (or her version, anyway) including Dada, Mama, uh-oh, and bye bye. Even more impressive is how much she understands. I am loving this age and watching her personality develop, although sometimes I look at her and wonder where my baby went!

It's crazy how fast they get big! She's a great walker. Good luck now that she's gone mobile. :) Start baby-proofing with cupboard locks and the whole bit. It makes life so much easier. Seriously.
You know, just forget all that other baby-proofing I previously mentioned. Go for the straight jacket. It'll save you a lot of stress. :) Kidding. Really.
OH MY GOODNESS, sis I can not believe how dang smart she is, and she is walking like a champ! It blows my mind that her first birthday is just around the corner! She is so adorable...I CAN NOT wait to see her! :):):) Love you xo

I think we're all in awe! It seems like yesterday that we were at her bessing and she was still a newborn. Now she's all grown up, talkin and walkin! Its crazy how much they change in the first year! I love her little leggers when she walks! It is too cute :)
Cutest! She's such a good little walker.
Lauren, she is SO cute!!! She's a walking machine! Her stance for getting around to her belly (to go down the stairs) freaks me out. =) Glad she's helping you out around the house. Think she'd come over to my house and fold our laundry? I'll pay her in Cheerios. Tell her to call me.
Way to walk before you're one! That's a big accomplishment. She's a very cute walker too. About the bows - I used the single prong ones. I thought they turned out pretty good. I really am having too much fin with it!
WOW I really can't believe that she is walking!! Way to go! Jacob isn't quite there, he will walk all over with his little hippo thing or if we are holding his hands, but he won't go it alone yet- probably because his older brother is constantly knocking him down. But Josh didn't walk until 15 months even- she is a genius!! And SUPER cute.
All she needed was a little toddler motivation. Trying to keep up with Gavin and Laney seemed to do the trick. Good Job Maddie!
thanks for letting us watch her walk! so precious. love you-dana
Kinsey loves to 'help' with the laundary too! It actually usually involves her finding my silky garments in the pile and putting them on her head...weirdie. I cant believe how well Maddie is walking, yeehaw! Kinsey has now started walking behind her push-along car, so she probably has another month or two. I am a little nervous about stairs however because we dont have any, so I am afraid when she first finds some it could be scary!
She is such a good walker! Ava is still so clingy she doesn't let go often enough to build up her confidence. Go Maddie! And watch out Mom!
You are kidding me! She is such a good little walker! Sorry I missed out on most of the visiting teaching last month. You're such a great VT companion. I'm so glad you were able to meet with both Megan and Kayleen. Missed seeing you at church today. :)

Wow, seeing Maddie is like a flashback to last year with McKenna! Just a few weeks makes all the difference with these little ones. Maddie is sure a keeper!
We can't wait to have the "Beach Bum" visit us in California! How exciting that Maddie is walking now. I know exactly what you mean about wondering where your "baby" went.
