Ella was in the Prayer dance of Coppelia with her dance company Barlow Arts Conservatory. I didn't get a picture in her costume because it was rented, but it was a beautiful white dress. Mike and I split up and he went to the afternoon performance, and I went to the evening one.
Ella was asked to be part of a photo shoot for Barlow's website with the lead dancer in Coppelia, Rylee Rogers. (She is a beautiful dancer, and has won many awards at YAGP, and was Clara in NYC Radio City Nutcrackers last year. She is amazingly talented even at her young age of 15!) Anyway Ella had such stars in her eyes and felt so honored to be asked. We think it's because of her amazing second position splits!
We are going to have to put these photos on canvas and hang them above her ballet bar in her room!
On May 19th and 20th the boys got to go to Father's and Son's with Dad! They had a great time.
Tyler has been loving T-ball! He is super into right now, and gaining skill rapidly. It helps that Daddy bought him a tee to practice at home and he is constantly wanting to have games in the back yard.
All the neighborhood boys are on his team, with our next door neighbor Ben as his coach. It's always a party!
Maddie had her gymnastics exhibition in May too. She has been working hard in level 3. She and Ella have also been in a tumbling class in our neighborhood and Maddie almost has her back handspring. She likes to practice her flips on the tramp!
Maddie is in the same class as Ella's best friend Cambry. Kinda funny!
Tyler finished up soccer in May. He has gained a lot of confidence and regularly scores goals. His coach Cameron has been awesome!! The Purple Dragons had a great season together.
