Lessons Learned

#1. Check the date on your tickets before you attend a concert! :)

Mike's sister Rachel invited us to the MoTab Christmas concert on Friday, and none of us realized it was Friday the eleventh until we got to the parking garage and the agent said it was the first concert voucher he had seen! Hilarious! But we had a good time on our double date anyway, wandering around downtown Salt Lake and seeing the lights on Temple Square.

#2. Don't turn your back on Maddie alone with a full bottle of bubble bath.

It didn't take long for frustration and scolding to turn to laughter and glee. Better have some fun when you have a chance, right?

#3. Don't let Maddie apply her own lip gloss!!!!!!

Trouble! That's all I can say! All three of these lessons happened within about a day... thankfully the weekend looked up after that. Fun Christmassy stuff coming soon!

Oh no! That is hilarious! I love the bubble bath! hahah... silly Maddie. Is the nativity on the water a new things added to Temple Square this year? I don't remember it, it is beautiful! So, do you still get to go to the concert?

oops! can't complain about a date night though! and my advice is make sure you get to the concert EARLY. Bryce and I had tickets a couple years ago, got there a half hour before it started and ended up going home because they kept saying it was full and sending us somewhere else until they eventually told us it was full and to go home. Somehow my brother who was in the stand-by line got in though. Sad and soo frustrating!

Now you get to go out for date night 2 weeks in a row! And how can you be upset at that cute face. She looks so adorable surrounded by bubbles! :) Brooklyn loves lip gloss or chap stick, she has her own little tube and since she hasn't quite got the letter L down, she's always telling me she needs her wip stuff. I just love it!
