Maddie and Maycee planned and carried out a gymnastics camp. They had two sessions a week for two weeks. They charged $5 per kid and made a good amount of money to go toward their Clear Creek summer camp.
The maiden voyage of the Christmas kayaks! Also the beginning of many days on the water.

Maddie was obsessed for a few weeks with getting her friends together for a late night. The stars finally aligned and we had them come to our house for a few hours. They are beginning to flirt... need I say more? (Eye roll) But they are such good kids!
Summer is also the time for sales. Endless sales.

Goodfed off at IFA while buying more corn seed for the garden.
Maddie has started babysitting this summer, for more than just me! A couple of my sweet friends have trusted her and it's gone really well! She loves playing with the kids and earning more money.
Ella talked me into buying boondogle. It's brought back so many memories from my childhood!
We enjoyed harvesting the peas in the garden.

For my birthday Mike got me a pass to the Lehi Outdoor Pool. The kids were thrilled! It's been a fun way to kill time when we're bored.
For mine and Dana's birthday we went to Thai food and then she made mom's chocolate cake. We were pretty spoiled!

Grandma's fairy gardens are always magical.
The tire swing is a favorite hangout.
Shoshone Falls was so full! It's usually slowing by this time of year, but I guess there was plenty of rain upstream and they didn't dam it for irrigation as much as usual. It was so beautiful!

Back at home we tried to stay busy swimming more, and a stop to get shaved ice.

We went to a summer picnic and water party at a neighbor's house, and the firemen stopped by to add to the fun!
We walked in the Lehi Round-Up Parade with our ward float. The theme was "Fishing in the Dark. " Cutest little cowboys and girls!
And then the 4th of July! Had a fun BBQ with neighbors the weekend before.
We got up early for the Freedom Festival parade in Provo. Got a good spot, but the shade only lasted about half of the time.
That night we had the Sherwood's over for a BBQ. Cutest cousins!
The amazing fireworks in our neighborhood, combined with the cool flyovers from the fighter jets that were performing for Stadium of Fire, made for a pretty stellar night!
