Kate at 8 months

Baby Kate just thinks she can keep growing. The months are flying by. But she is getting more and more fun, so I guess I'll allow it.

She loves to jabber and talk, saying consonants now, like dada and baba, all day long.

Still no teeth, but I can see the nubs in her gums to any time now.

She loves to put anything in her mouth, as you can see in some family photos we shot in American Fork Canyon last week. Makes for a cute picture, although a few times she has gotten a little leaf in her mouth and almost choked!

Kate could you please smile a little bigger please?

I am excited for Kate to love girl toys. We're hard core into legos and Rescue Bots these days, and I miss when my little girls played dolls and dress-ups all day! Of course they still love those things, but usually only when friends come over.

We have a tummy sleeper most of the time. I start by wrapping her on her back, but she always wakes up like this.

Now that the big kids are back in school, I have lots more bonding time with the littles... and they with each other!

Kate also came on a date night with us and tried on some fall fashion. She hated it!

What she did love recently was riding in a backpack on our hike to Ensign Peak. She squealed and squawked up a racket.

Another thing I love about school being in session. It was so fun to have just the baby smiling at me in the cart, and no fighting or whining or drama as I shopped!

Kate loves being outside playing with the kids.

A certain silly brother keep putting a lizard in her binki. It started at church one Sunday and got quite the giggles going in our pew!

Bathtime is the best time.... oooooo I just want to pinch those rolls!
