Mike was asked to go to our stake Fathers ans Sons camp out for his calling (Stake YM Sec). He figured it wouldn't hurt to bring a daughter, and Maddie was thrilled!
They roughed it and slept on the hard ground. Mike had a bad night but Maddie didn't mind at all, as long as she had her Tinkerbell sleeping bag!
She hardly noticed she was the only girl and loved going on an adventure just her and Daddy. While they were gone Ella and I had some good bonding time too. We pre-registered at the hospital (I think it was good for her to see where the baby would be born!) and got ice cream together.
We thought they would really miss being together, but when Maddie got back they still weren't ready to see each other!

That is so adorable!! My boys can't wait to go with Brian for ours this weekend.
I LOVED hearing your story of shopping in Babies R Us. I am sure it was so frustrating for you... but it is so refreshing to hear stories like this from other moms and know that it happens to everyone. Trust me, I have been flustered many a time in stores with my kiddos! And I'm sure you'll read that in the future and laugh about it!
