New Year's @ St. George

The tree my mom put up just for the weekend.

The girls wearing Mrs. Potato Head earrings.

The stance Ty took for most of the weekend.

 The creamies from October.

 The Daddy reading stories.

 The scooting...

And more scooting on the stone floors.

 The cute Grandpa moments...

 And cute Grandma moments.

 Even some mama moments.

 The Red Rock Stars.

 The bowls games.

 The heated pool.

 The delayed family gift exchange.

 The aftermath.

 The cute little monster.

The photographer's new accessory (btw, the gorgeous pictures at the bottom are from her).

The suspense.

The outdoor fire with Uncle Zak.

The heated pool, again. And Ella's HILARIOUS "Hold on, Emrie!" Don't think that's what she was really saying but it looks so funny!

 The onlookers.

 The cousins in the bath.

The clean kids, ready to hit the town!

The monkeys all lined up at the bar.

The ball-dropping video from last year, found on You Tube and played at 10 pm.

The banging of pans (also at 10 pm).

The hilarious dancing on the new Wii game Just Dance. Wow. It kept us busting up till midnight.

The toast to a great 2012! Kindergarten coming up... four 1st birthdays... and two 30th birthdays... it's going to be a good one.

 What the Lady Gaga?!

The family pictures Noelle took after church.

The pained looks on all our faces... the best we could do under the circumstances.

 The shiny heels.

 The beautiful terrain!

The cool shot Mike took of the waterfall.

The cool shot Noelle took of Mike taking pictures.

 The cute cousins!

The family dinner. Missed you Em, Ren, and Cole!

 The goofy Ella.

 The dancing continued.

The cutest baby in the world!!!! I'm so glad Noelle captured this mini shoot of my little guy.

 The two front teeth.

 The truck.

 The never-ending drool. Ew.

 The End.

New Lens

Santa DID bring us a camera and Mike has had been experimenting with the settings and options. In the process he has caught some interesting shots... so here's a view of our world through the new lens!

There is a cool setting that tells the camera to snap the picture as soon as it senses as smile! Mike used smiley Tyler to try it out.

He found a setting that allows you to choose one color, and then it will find just that color and the rest will be black and white.

Reds... Reminds me a little of Kim Anderson cards about 10 years ago, but still cool.

 Purple.... I like it.
Don't know what this one was called but it has a slow shutter speed and makes anything moving looks blurry.

 Switch.

Playroom on vibrant.

  I just love that smile!

Really, I can't get enough of it!

The St. George house in color...

And again highlighting just one color--this time orange.

And now you know how Mike spent his Christmas vacation! That and relaxing in St. George, coming up next.
